Let the debates begin!

Do you agree with or disagree with the article?

First, how up-to-date is that article?

They've completely recast and recrewed The Fantastic Four, and that was a month or two ago. I read an announcement about the new Ant-Man director on the weekend (thought they'd found one).

Do I agree or disagree?
There's not much to say there. Mistakes about directors notwithstanding, they've done their box office research (it amuses me in light of that article that my Amazing Spider-Man 2 ticket went towards domestic gross, not foreign); they're basing the article mostly on those figures. And some behind-the-scenes stuff.

I know I won't be going to see Batman vs. Superman in theatres, because I think Man Of Steel was such a betrayal of the character. If most geeks thought that way, that'd halve its takings.
But we're geeks. We don't think that way. I'll probably find myself somewhere in the middle of the theatre for that movie, too.

So, really, FP, I just can't answer your question. Helpful?

That brings to mind this:

That's pretty cool! Those are some eye-popping numbers.

Mind you, tho, the article compares owned (or licensed) properties of movie studios, while what you posted compares characters created by the big two comic companies.

Still interesting, tho.

Oh yeah, I know they're different in point, the bits about sales in the article you posted just made me remember it.

It's all good.
