• Uncanny X-Force #4 & 5 Sales Figures

ICv2 have released the Top 300 Comics for the month of May 2013, which includes the placement of the Puck-featuring Uncanny X-Force:

Due to #4 being delayed a week from the last week in April to the first week in May, last month's Top 300 had no placement for the title, and two issues in this month's sales figures which makes for some interesting analysis.

35 36.99 UNCANNY X-FORCE #4 $3.99 MAR 47,727

36 35.40 UNCANNY X-FORCE #5 $3.99 MAR 45,674

#5 came just one place meaning that retailers are ordering the title in similar quantities, with #5 solicited after #1 had been released.

The title has dropped around 2,000 sales between issues, which follows on the trend from last month:

    #3: 51,721

    #2: 56,713
    #1: 86,817

which is slightly worrying, especially as these issues also had variant covers which would have slightly bumped up sales.

However, the title is still selling 5,000 more copies than critical hits such as Wolverine & The X-Men and Daredevil, and selling more than Marvel NOW! relaunches of Iron Man, Cable & X-Force, Secret Avengers, Thunderbolts, Young Avengers, FF, Avengers Arena and X-Men Legacy.

And for contrast, it's currently selling twice as much as Astonishing X-Men:

97 18.69 ASTONISHING X-MEN #62 $3.99 MAR 24,121

Astonishing X-Men does look to be taking a significant drop, with the title returned to it's pre-X-Termination crossover sales:

81 20.50 ASTONISHING X-MEN #61 $3.99 MAR 27,090

88 20.08 ASTONISHING X-MEN #60 $3.99 MAR 27,683

88 16.06 ASTONISHING X-MEN #59 $3.99 MAR 24,195

81
     17.24 ASTONISHING X-MEN #58 $3.99 MAR 25,159

I wouldn't be surprised if this title were to be cancelled in coming months. The question would then be whether or not Northstar went to another X-team/title or faded back into limbo...

Don't think we need to worry about X-Force yet (still as you said, it's selling well...for now), Astonishing I think will be fine for a bit too. X-Factor hasn't been selling well for a long time but Marvel has kept it around until just recently (finally ending). Same for the Ultimate Comics series, etc.

Yeah, I think UXF is safe, but if it continues to slide they may change the team up and put bigger selling characters on in favour of Puck.

The problem with Astonishing is that it's approaching Age of Apocalypse / X-Treme X-Men numbers and they both got the chop, as is Gambit, Red She-Hulk and Dark Avengers.
