The problem we’ve always had in doing this is the problem that you touch on when you say “ones that stick around for longer than a year”—and that is that there seems to be only limited interest in those characters and those books, not enough to make them successful longer term.

Little is known of Kara of reality #295, but was a mutant that years ago [[Quire, Quentin (AoA)|Quentin Quire]] tried unsuccessfully to join his cult of telepaths, called the [[Overmind (AoA)|Overmind]]. However, as the years continued Quire continued to form his cult, which he used as a psychic pyramid scheme. He starting with the most minor of street dreg telepaths feeding his own skills to the point where he could control [[Moondragon (AoA)|Moondragon]] and even Kara herself. Sometime later, Kara was present when Quire forced [[Mesmero (AoA)|Mesmero]] to join the Overmind as the two shared a previous connection. It is believed after the events of X-Termination, Kara and the rest of the AoA universe were destroyed.
==Powers/Abilities==
Little is known of this version of Kara, but she can control a person through the use of pheromones, rendering them in a near-mindless state, extremely receptive to suggestion.

Perhaps they already have covered that extensively somewhere in the comics? I may have missed it, i know wolverine is over used but it'd also be cool to see him go back and re-join Alpha Flight but not be the center point of all the stories.
