You don't have this listed as Gary Cody's first appearance - is that true? Did he appear in X-Men or Machine Man or something, or was it a typo?

Other than that it's this issue.
I'm with you on this issue as Cody wouldn't wear a generic worker's suit.
I also need to put the Smallwoods in.

Maybe we should say 'possible first appearance' for him, then, for both issues? It's similar to the way some people think of a generic background character as Mac in an issue of... X-Men? The Hulk? ... when Wolverine was deployed. (If it is, it's a retcon; but not a bad one.)
