Yes, a 'Vindicator' in an issue of Iron Man springs to mind!

Just found my list that I mentioned a few months ago. Will be double-checking what is actually in the issues as I had only written down who was there - not whether it was as a new appearance vs. reprint of old pic. I do have a verified appearance. All of these comics were anniversary issues with borders of characters. Puck is in the lower left corner - verified by the Official Marvel Index of the Marvel Universe (showing the Avengers issue). They list all the characters - including Puck. The issues include :
Captain America 323
Conan Barbarian 188
Conan the King 37
Daredevil 236
FF 296
Ironman 212
New Mutants 45
Amaz. Spiderman 282
Sens. Spiderman 193
Spect. Spiderman 120
Thor 373
We are aware of these issues but because they're reprinted artwork that isn't unique they're only counted once, under the appropriate Alpha Flight issue.
Yup, the full list is:

Apparently there's some AF in this week's Nightcrawler #7 (I'm guessing flashbacks?)

From a panel I've seen Puck & Northstar are definitely at his wake.
It probably isn't worth buying for an Alpha Flight scene, but probably is worth buying because Nightcrawler is a good comic.

Just to confirm: Northstar, Puck, Aurora, Sasquatch, Snowbird, and Heather Hudson without suit appear in the issue as holographic projections.
Later floating heads of Heather, Snowbird, Shaman, Puck, Guardian appear.
No one physically appears in the issue
here are projections of wolverine's friends to have a party with to honor him. No dialogue even from the other projections.
Ack. I'll pass.
No offense. But i only buy Marvel for decent Flight appearances. Until such time as they change the way they write comics.Quote:
but probably is worth buying because Nightcrawler is a good comic
And to be fair, I'm none too happy with the way DC writes, either.
So this panel is just projections? Crazy.

Still enough for me to pick it up though :D
Yep. All generated by the danger room.
Why would I be offended? I'm not offended.
Really.
I can take it. *sniff*
I'm fine! Fine! *sniffle*
:P
Ah, the Danger Room. That explains everything! Thanks.

Alpha Flight makes appearances in two upcoming books about to be released.
Sasquatch and the Alpha Flight Omnijet make it into Insight Editions Marvel Vehicles: Owner's Workshop Manual. They are the same people who made the World according to Wolverine that Phil mentioned earlier.
Attachment 4495
It's like an Official Marvel Handbook for vehicles. I saw a preview copy at NYCC today.
Also, Alpha Flight appears in the biggest BIGGEST book in the Alpha Flight collection: 75 Years of Marvel Comics. From the Golden Age to the Silver Screen by Taschen. It's a monstrous oversized 712 page book that weighs a ton. You can see Puck reprinted on the cover of West Coast Avengers #1 and there's a blurb about Northstar and Kyle's wedding with a reprinted cover of Astonishing X-Men #51.

Did I say how big it is? It's so big. :)
Here is somebody else who seems to enjoy Nightcrawler...
Hint: he's probably a bigger fan that you are.
http://nypost.com/2014/10/10/meet-th...mic-book-geek/
He's certainly bigger!
I had a flick through this today.
The scan of the Omnijet is pretty bad quality. Definitely taken from the Byrne era but with poor restoration.
Also, the picture isn't Sasquatch it's Wendigo from Avengers (2013) #10, labeled as Sasquatch.
Additionally there's an entry for the Department H Helicarrier, from the same issue.
It came out in the UK today.
I see Northstar in this:

but he's not behaving! Not at all!
I presume you're referring to http://alphaflight.net/showthread.ph...7700#post97700
Yup. But I wished they showed Mac in the FF#1 story. As explicitly laid out by Byrne in AF#3.
Just wanted to let you all know (if it hasn't already com up) that Sasquatch is on a monitor in the background of the Agents of Shield Comic 1 that came out recently. They also have information on the old Omega Flight on a screen.
There's a thread on it at http://alphaflight.net/showthread.ph...-S-H-I-E-L-D-1 but thanks for checking! :D
Today's All-New X-Men #36 has a return to the much-return-ed fight scene panel from House of M #6 and while you can't tell it's him because he's far away you can make out Daredevil kicking someone.
We know from the original scene that that someone is Northstar!
:) That's kinda cool!
What are they doing in House Of M?

Ooh! You make me want to get this one!
Well it's literally that one panel, just so you're aware before you do!
Meet the Marvel Superheroes came out today. It's a kid version of an Official Handbook, and published by Marvel Press. It has a surprsing number of X-men, Mutants and Fantastic Four given the movie rights thing... and a big emphasis on the Marvel Studio heroes (GotG, Thor, Cap, Avengers, etc.). It also has an unusual number of female characters. Aurora and Northstar each have 1pg entries, with new art. I'll scan later. I don't know who the artist is because it's so vaguely credited but given some time I'll figure it out. Aurora also appears on the cover, but not the dustjacket. Here is an image of the dustjacket cover:
Attachment 4713
Is it not a straight reprint of the last version then?
Not a straight reprint. It's all new art. Every image on every page is new art. Also there are different characters (Marrina lost her 1pg entry :( )
Nicely spotted then!
I saw '2nd Edition' and didn't think I'd need to bother with it.
Cartoon Alpha Flight popped up in the Deadpool #250 issue that came out today. They are attending the Deadpool Roast, which is just like Hembeck's Fantastic Four Roast. Almost exactly like it. $9.99 for a cartoon cameo and have fun with the variants. :)
Oh, and this tweet made it into the book, too: https://twitter.com/AlphaFlight_net/...71441273667584
Ugh... I saw the variants and winced...
And Wahey at the tweet! I hoped they'd pick that!
