Hmm… I can't help thinking about John Carpenters The Thing. (I don't know how well it matches the original.)
The Alphans we see look surprisingly normal for an Old-Man series; I'd have expected them to be missing more body parts, or Snowbird to be half-animal or something. (Maybe Mac's a cyborg again?)
Kudos to the guys for riding out the years so well!

It’s set in present 616 MCU.
-
Oh. Well, that explains that. :)
(Is present MCU still 616 after Secret Wars III?)

Well that was another great issue, by a Canadian author.
Between this and Champions a return to an Earth based AF series must be happening.. right?
-
Loved this issue. Now that’s how you handle Alpha Flight. Old man Logan has been great since the start, so sad it’s ending soon
Puck was perfect and nice to see Logan and his deep friendship continues
nice to know this comic addresses the space issue. I feel we’re going to get the team to all return to earth very soon
-
Yup, that's how you handle AF. Treat them like who they are, not weaklings or dummies, but successful characters. Puck fits as the 'can't lose, cares too' guy who has a sense of humour about most everything, but handles things that need handling.
