Done and done! If there is a chance, no matter how small, of my picture getting in an issue of Alpha Flight, then I'm all over it. :)

More like different kinds of attractive, I think - Northstar has the severe, aloof, cheekbones-that-can-cut-glass look going, while Shaman's look is definitely warmer and darker, and all of that lovely flowing hair does not hurt in the least.
If this is an attempt to help build up the female readership, it's definitely getting a thumbs up from this corner. ;)
It is surprising how just losing the headband helps.
In regards to the Stevie Hunter question (From FVL at Twitter)
RT ------------- what's northstar's boyfriend's last name? is his sister stevie hunter?
Oh, so THAT'S why people keep asking. No, sorry. ;)

I'm AFK for the next few days so if you wanna make that an article all of its own it'd be appreciated.
Phil, I updated into one of the front page articles, but can adjust if required.
Can we get spoiler warnings on the links, please? And maybe remove that cover from the gallery until the issue comes out? I know we're all excited, but come on.
No problem re the cover, but am a bit confused as to what is the visible spoiler ?
Hmm, I commented on the review of the issue, but it looks like more discussion is going on here!
From my comment on the review:
Quote:
It seems like Pak and Van Lente are members of this forum and have read the posts from all of us old-time AF lovers. They even put REAL Boxes in there!
It's interesting comparing this #1 with the 1st run's #1...they have similarities, but each character seems more mature in their powers and character. At first I was a bit disappointed that Aurora wasn't so over-the-top French, but that's the younger girl we already knew.
It's not quite a sequel, and not quite a relaunch, and I think that's why I like it.
Now I gotta talk to Pak and Van Lente about resurrecting my 2005 Box mini-series idea! What's their number again?
It's an Issue ONE thread. Posting images from issue FOUR(including the cover with villains who may or may not be affecting our heroes) is definitely spoiler territory.
Ryan, maniac mike's post, which is the one I believe you are referring to, has been updated to include in red tet "**Links contain possible spoilers for future issues**" I believe we have covered all the bases.
Love,

I think Ryans issue was more the posting of the cover to #4 which I take full responsibility for. The cover had been posted at numerous sites and also in Spoiler Warned articles here. I did not take into consideration the fact that some members may have the gallery images open as soon as they get into the forum, not a habit I have gotten into. The fault is mine and the image has been removed. It was not my intention to post deliberate spoilers and for that I apologise.
Thanks, guys, appreciate it.
My take on Issue # 1.
http://canadas-own-the-flight.blogsp...ol4-issue.html
I still haven't had my #1 yet, to be fair.
Probably late news, but some of the pages for #1 are up for sale at The Artist's Choice.
Looks like the ones with JP and Kyle canoodling already have a home, so that saves me from some tough choices wrt the Ramen diet.
Hmm.. I think I may have to wait till NYCC and hope some get taken there, rather than get stung on international postage.
So what does PI mean in the price column? Curious
Hi gang,
The pages haven't been priced yet... Strange that they've been posted! My guess is that he just wanted to get them up there for you to see which ones were available.
PI = Please Inquire
Suzene, the pages you don't see went to the inker, Drew Hennessy. I believe he plans on selling them, so keep an eye out. You may need a Ramen diet after all... :?

It means you can't afford it.
A solid A on the issue.
Two things kepot it from an A+
1. The misplaced "eh?"
2. Sasquatch did not seem ten feet tall/ I know the scale can be difficult to convey properly, but he seemed small in mqany panels. I jeep thinking opf the old Hulk cover with Sasquatch and Wendigo
Those are quibbles, tho...Great job!
Here's the link I have: http://www.comicbookartgallery.com/A...=673&Details=0
The Alpha Flight stuff doesn't seem to be up yet.
I just looked over all the Sasquatch panels, out of curiosity, and the size never seems to be off...? Whenever he appears smaller, it's because he's further back than other characters, or because we're looking from above. In both cases, it's how a tall character would look in perspective.
I know what you mean about the "eh," though. But to play devil's advocate, I just had an "eh" debate recently with a friend from BC, about where and how it's used. She was telling me they used it in one way, and it's totally different here in Ontario or Quebec. If I'd seen it in writing, I would have said "that's not how it's used!" Not only that, but she seems to add an "h" at the beginning, so it sounds like "hey." And then I have another friend from New Brunswick, and she uses it differently too. So I think it varies from one region to another.
Spencer's e-mail is written at the bottom of that page (but here it is, just in case: SpencerBck@aol.com)
I don't think he'll reserve it for you, but you can always try...
Ironic... I didn't pick mine up 'til the 18th of July because I wasn't in Oz.

From a certain point of view, the traitor makes sense; this is supposed to be about the v1#1 team, and she's the only one who technically wasn't a member.
