Heh, it's always good to re-mention this stuff.
I like seeing how people's thoughts change too.
I still to this day wouldn't have known had it not been mentioned!

Yeah I wouldn’t have guessed it at all. I like hearing about how some classic stories still inspire people. Hope it encourages people to pick up the old issues
I forgot that thread. Look, I may be senile, and I may be ugly, but at least I'm not senile!
This video:
Linkara House Of M
mentions Postman Mike story.
The last cartoon on this page:

Trigger warning: The cartoon blasphemes. It also takes a stance on politics (it's in an Election Day special). By linking to it, I'm not endorsing doing either of these things, just saying it mentions Alpha Flight by name.
Huh. I just edited that post, and it worked!
Agreed. Bendis has been nothing bt insulting to Alpha Flight and the fans.
If anyone has Disney+, there's a brief mention and placement of the cover of AF #110 in Episode 4 of the new documentary Marvel's 616, as they interview Simon Furman, and later on the Facsimile Edition of #1!
I'm not really sure where to put this bit, so here will do:
http://atopthefourthwall.com/awesome...liday-special/
from about 10:25, he talks about a character that looks to me like a ripoff of Bochs (in a comic full of ripoffs of other characters).
Here's another one:

I'm linking basically straight to the moment of the mention.
Taskmaster Vol. 3 #2
Coulson and Taskmaster are in a comic book store.
Coulson : Hey pal, who's your favorite team?
Taskmaster : Huh? Uh... Alpha Flight?
Coulson : Alpha Flight? But they're...Canadian.
Taskmaster : I like the Bigfoot guy?
Nice :)
I like it! :D
Jed's a big AF fan (as evidenced by his work in True North), plus the Taskmaster connection fits Volume 4!
Plus, you can just about make out blurred Vol.1 #2 and 23 covers in the background!
