Thanks for the kind words. My eyes somehow missed the September thread though. I need to get my Torpedo visor modified again ;)

Looks like (Nu-)Box is in Infinity:The Hunt #2. Not sure how much though.
Is that the one from Inhumanity?
The Inhumanity? Oh!
5 panels.
There's an Inhumanity event tying into a bunch of Marvel titles in December that will lead into a new Inhuman book. And there will be an Inhumanity: The Awakening mini series that follows after Infinity: The Hunt. Not sure if (Nu-)Box will be partaking in all that.
Hm. More Inhumans, eh? Sigh...
There is a Box character who ties into Inhumanity... is that what you mean by Nu-Box, or is it someone else?

The Box character ties in to Infinity, not Inhumanity, in the current pages of Infinity:The Hunt.
Ooohhh... I get it now. I've been confused all along.
Yeah, but rubbing Quentin Quire the wrong way is like shooting fish in a barrel...
The previously mentioned Age of Apocalypse Omnibus companion cover art (possibly?) on Amazon is Wild Child-less. Dunno if it's the actual art for the cover but really Wild Child ought to be there, chained up to Sabretooth:

Nu-Box likely to be in Infinity Hunt #3 as well. He's listed in the preview page:

Wouldn't it be nice if young Box became the break-out star of this? Better than simply being used and killed off-panel.
Don't give them any ideas!Quote:

Well, he's definitely in it, but I'm not 100% he made it out alive...
Yeah, he's likely to have survived even though the armor got a bit cracked up. I think he'll be OK.
Yeah, I'd guess he survived. Whether or not we will ever see or hear from him again? That's an entirely different story!
Kickass 3 #4 doesn't feature Alpha Flight exactly, but the main character is on a message board discussing Canadian super-heroes and he references Alpha Flight and Wolverine being Canadian.

has a Northstar appearance! It's a big comic , too so I love it. I really like these kinds of books where you get a little bit of everything.
EDIT: the appearance is a reprint/promo from Amazing X-Men #1. I just saw the pointy ears and grabbed it off the shelf, didn't really click that it was a reprint. Oh well, it's still a cool comic if you can appreciate X-Men history.
Well in Infinity Hunt #4

HE SURVIVES! and since he's kind of big, ends up carrying around some of the moloids, doesn't get too many panels in this book but does have a few speaking lines. The story wraps up with the student teams victorious so it's all good. Now he's kind of out there, among a gaggle of new characters introduced, who knows if he or any of the other kids will show up in future issues? I hope so!
Hurray, Box Junior survived!
Um.
In all, his appearance in this LS was...underwhelming. He was there...but that is about it.
As this LS wraps up, a thought comes to mind. My poor brain imagines the discussion at Marvel HQ before this series begins, where somebody throws out the idea of a Canadian school for the powered and gifted...and the idea is quickly stomped on. "Don't want to give those Alpha Flight lovers anything to get their hopes up...they'll just flood all the message boards with their stupid messages about wanting Alpha Flight back." Then somebody comes up with the idea of 'throwing us a bone'; "Hey, what about if we entice them AF fans to buy this series, by inserting a legacy character in the story, but not really doing anything with him after that. This way, we get their money, but don't get their hopes high enough to have to listen to their whining and mewing and complaining..."
I hate to say it, but after reading The Hunt, I get the feeling that I've just been taken advantage of...
Have i mentioned that with the cancellation of the Fearless Defenders title next month, I will now be Marvel-free in my pull list?
Don't worry... I didn't buy it.
There was no interest in the limited itself, and I've recently decided I'm not so in love with the ashes of Alpha Flight that I'll buy every single appearance of anything remotely connected to it. Or that just looks like it.
So they didn't get us all!

Northstar appears in this week's X-Men Legacy #21.
Okay... there's a floating head that looks like it could be him... but given the rest of the characters in the panel I think it's more likely meant to be Pete Wisdom.
Which panel do you mean, Phil? I didn't see Northstar.
There's one panel where there are lots of floating heads of X-characters that Legion has interacted with coming out of his head.
There's a dark haired male head around the top right of the section.
It was reported as being JP but I'm 99% sure it's Wisdom.
Very quick cam-pic:

Apparently Puck (& The rest of X-Force) made a cameo in Uncanny Avengers #15.
Attachment 3325
His cameo makes no sense at all. Scarlet Witch is casting a powerful rapture spell that takes all of the mutants and teleports them to another planet. Puck is one of the people who gets teleported even though the spell is only aimed at mutants...
...I smell a retro-fitting coming on...
You mean like turning Puck into a mutant so he's not one of those androgynous types like Deadpool floating around?
Deadpool floating around? Wouldn't that be Deadbuoy?
Damn it.. Too good.
