well, one thing is for sure, marvel is pushing this series. that is one thing we can't complain about. i love the various artists on the covers, but yu's sasquatch is downright ugly.
Hmmm. Now the questions here are which personality is in charge of Aurora and who is Sasquatch on the side of?
I'm getting the betrayal thing. Jeanne Marie masquerading, betraying Northstar (opinion), but what does Wolvie need to avenge?
I think it's more the fact he's an Avenge-r.
Ambiguous, but feasible :-)
I'm guessing if Marvel is putting effort into hyping this, it bodes well for Alpha fans.
Am disappointed by rounded ears on Northstar and Aurora. This is going to be a cover to an actual issue? Terrible! Someone get Mark Paniccia on the horn and get some power-Editor action!! There's just no way Marvel can publish that image as a cover with such a glaring error!
Good catch!Quote:

sasquatch kinda reminds me of a mean ludo in that picture. like the cover tho other then the ears on the twins
We have, but I'm going with ugly. More than just anger, he's off-model; too much mop hair.
I can see where the 'Ludo' comment came from, but I don't particularly agree. Ludo is whimsical and sweet, this is... not.
There's been stuff published before with the twins having rounded ears. :(

I tell you, looks like more fun!
As a mystical being, who says Sas' hair would grow at all?Quote:
The amount of time Walt's spent as Sasquatch would've grown his hair quite considerably.
Oh yeah, I get that.
I was just recalling that any injuries he sustains as Sasquatch have to heal, rather than just changing to human and then back to beast and being as good as new so by that logic there'd be scope for hair growth.
It wasn't a serious thought, just a little quirk.
Same thing for Beast and Wolverine etc.
If Wolverine was to get a hair cut, would his healing factor not take it back to what it was before the perm?
Taken seriously; no, on account of hair is dead tissue.
... then again, it does grow back when it's, say, burned off.
Most animals, even non-mystical ones, have limits to their hair length. Even humans do, on their arms and legs; just not their head hair.
I figure that applies to Sasquatch.

"I'd love to, but the last time I went, I never came back."
That's the thing though, human head hair grows at a rate of 0.4mm a day approximately (within it's cycles) so with Wolverine's healing factor it'd be constantly growing and even the dead tissue would regenerate.
Similar sort of thing with finger & toenails perhaps.
And yeah, I know it's comics so you have to overlook some sense of normality for the sake of artistic license, but it amuses me.
