Would anyone be up for compiling a Profile of Northstar for an article?
With the launch of X-Factor I'd like to get a 'Beginner's Guide to Northstar' type thing for the main page of the site, detailing all his major storylines from UXM #120 up to Dawn of X, much like the Immortal Hulk Primer we ran back in 2018.
Happy for it to be a team effort if there are gaps in people's collections, and you're welcome to springboard off of, and pick apart, his old Alphanex entry.
Any thoughts?
Depending on how much detail we'd want, we'd have to show:
His helping to catch Wolverine in UXM 120-121. (first appearance.)
Helping to hunt Machine Man (MM #18) while AF disbanded.
Rejoining a re-banded AF (AF #1).
Losing his mentor and fighting Deadly Earnest in AF #7-8. (Resolved in #…31?)
Quitting the team in the late teens; rejoining later. Slowly getting sick, until moving to Alfheim in #50.
Returning to Earth much later.
Coming out in #106.
Joining the X-Men and bumming around with them for a while.
Fighting Juggernaut (or did I make that up?)
Then leading X-Factor in their Puzzle Quest.
Sorry I didn't check all the numbers and go into proper detail. My collection is a whole foot to my left, and I don't want to go that far.
