Nice work!
Like the bookends Guardian and Vindicator.

They're called micro-heroes, below is a link of a forum specially for micro making and posting...

No, sir! I don't like it.
-
I absolutely love these. They need to make Box!

Those are interesting, MM. I liked the originals better, however. Are you planning on making Roger Bochs (Box), Wild Child, Purple Girl, Weapon X, Diamond Lil, Mr Jeffries (Box), Groundhog, and Saint Elmo...would love to see all of them, as well.
-
Hmm... I like! But I'd think Marrina would make a better rage, then Sas avarice because of his connection to Gilded Lily (okay, because it'd leave nobody else); I'm not sure about Snowbird as fear, either, but I don't know what else to make her...
come to think of it, it'd be hard to swap them around.
Maybe you should make Shaman's costume indigo?
Guardian as black lantern - bwahahahaha! Perfect!

Aww... Look at the cute widdle evil killers!
Wow... I haven't said that since Gremlins!

Tygerstryke
When did the spelling change to 2 "y"s [Tygerstryke]? Because that's what I was thinking (for a change to the original character), even though the name is spelled "TigerStryke" in the NORTHSTAR mini-series. Had to dig up the issues to check
-
I'm pretty sure that in his first appearances in X-Force it was spelt Tygerstryke and that it was wrong in the Northstar series.
-
Here is a little something that has always annoyed me a bit...
Do these heroes and villains choose how to spell their own names, or do newspapers and whatnot just have to guess when mentioning them in stories?
Seriously. Do these people stay up at night, sewing their spandex costumes and trying to think of unique ways to spell their names? And do they have to then TELL everybody how it is spelled?
Villain, robbing a bank: "Yes, this is the villain WypperWill robbing you. That's W-Y-P-P-E-R, W-I-L-L; make sure you spell that correctly. Have you got it? Repeat after me; Wypperwill - W-Y-P..."
Or
"No, no, you've got me confused with that other guy. I am the hero Spyderman, spelled with a Y instead of an I. Got it now?"

Haven't you seen Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-Long Blog?

Yes, yes i have.
And then promptly bought it on DVD.

Then you know that, yes, villains stop in the middle of crimes to tell reporters how to spell their names.

Can you tell me which X-Force Tygerstryke initially appeared in? Just in case (one day) I get some money to buy it.
-
#11-13, 22-23.
I might be wrong on the spelling though, it's been a while since I read them.
-
I've just checked my Marvel Premiere Classics, and in #12 it's 'Tygerstryke' and in #23 it's 'Tigerstryke'.
The colours of his costume change, too. (White in #11-12, part yellow in 22-23.)

Thanks for the info.
BTW, are you a colourist by profession?

Nope. I work in the civil service.
Out of curiosity, why do you ask?

Just how civil is that service of yours? ;)

Sometimes it's downright rude! ;)

Because of your interest in the colouring in comics; besides that, just nosey.
-
I thought it may be that. :)
I'm intersted in comics being the best they can be... Marines comics? (Or is that Army?)

Thank you all for the comments on the Microheroes!
It's been awhile since I've posted anything here but I decided to post a new set of AF micros for everyone, from 1992 a trip down memory lane...

Cool! I remember that run... but didn't Sas look a lot like a teddy bear at the time?

Yeah, I remember that the artist would draw the hair on his head in the upward "Logan" fashion. And had these big, all-black eyes.
Oh, and those microheroes turned out fantabulous! I loved those costumes, even if the run was only okay.
-
Agree with Jason, the costumes were great.
-
The idea of Alpha having a team uniform really worked for me. I liked how they got it working even on people like Windshear, who had a completely different cut of costume, but still the same look overall.

As far as the above Microheroes go, the only real problem would be Puck; his torso should be the same size as everyone else's, just with shorter limbs. His limbs look too proportionate in the pic above.

Everyone knows the correct way to draw Puck is Ron Lim's Puck:

(Infinity Crusade #2 for those of you wondering)
-
His version looks like he took some Pym particles or something. (Lim's version that is)
