I'd love a complete Davis drawn AF series. Watch, one of you jokers is going to come in and tell me it's already been done.

Not AF related but I dressed up my dog again...

Needs a Vindicator or Northstar/Aurora outfit.
But I like the extra touch of the wig.
KM, does Shatner know your dog wears his hairpiece?
Paul Neary (who often inked Alan Davis) once pencilled an issue of Marvel 2-In-1 (or Team-Up; the one with Spider-Man) that had Alpha in it.
That's about as close as we've come.
:D Love it! that is so awesome!

I would like to do an AF related costume for him, but not sure how. Be cool to do Guardian
Found it. :)

Yep, that's the one!
Sorry, didn't mean to make you go searching for it; I keep my AF collection next to my computer for just such emergencies.

oooh, I forgot that I have that team-up.
I *think* that is the one I have.
Like Le Messor, I have a lot of my AF stuff on my desk next to me, but it's because I kind of get separation anxiety if I put it all away.
It's a very good issue and Neary drew a very decent Alpha Flight.
Plus a Byrne cover = gold.
My fave from that issue:

Now I really, really REALLY want a Davis drawn AF series (I just went back and looked again at Le Messor's Davis Sasquatch sketch).
I know it's entirely too much to ask for.
But in my perfect world...
So true!
Have you read it yet? It takes place during Byrne's run, and ties into #s 14 to 16 (which then lead into Power Pack #s 9 and 10, also a good guest-appearance, but by Marrina only).
As Phil has said, it's colourful, tasteful, and one of the better guest appearances of Alpha known to man. And Paul Neary draws Sasquatch in a way that makes me think he's seen Byrne's version.
You'll know how precious that is eventually...
In MY perfect world, Peter David is writing it.
All that said, Scott (my Sydney friend who got me that sketch) did have to look up a picture of Sasquatch online and show it to Alan Davis.

He's just so right for it.
Awesome wife is Awesome! As you may or may not know, I have been actively hunting down the orange Sasquatch (Bowen) statue for a very long time (for a reasonable price), because I have the rest of Alpha Flight - but only have the White Sasquatch (which, sure Walter was - but I want classic Walter!) Well for my birthday Awesome Wife Is Awesome got me...

Awesome!
If they were to make a full body statue I'd imagine it'd be of Northstar & Aurora.
I wouldn't think it was stupid, per se, but that it probably won't happen.
Also, if you buy the busts now (and, sorry, it *MAY* already be too late), and they do come out with full body statues, you can have it all!
There are:
Marrina, two Pucks, Guardian, Vindicator, Shaman, two Snowbirds, Northstar, Aurora, and two Sasquatches. I believe both Sasquatches come in both white and orange variants, but I'm open to correction on that - at least one definitely does, though.
Also, some of those are Bowen, some are Diamond. They're still to scale with each other, 'cept Sasquatch.

Woman working in sex shop, to a cop: "Is this a bust?"
Frank Drebbin: "It's very impressive, Ma'am, but we're here about a crime."

I want to at least get the twins and Mac.
Unless Alpha Flight becomes really popular, I doubt we will see full body statues, except for Northstar, since he has successfully transition over into the X-Men. (And at this time, Bowen Designs is in talks with Marvel, to continue their partnership - so it's going to - possibly - be a very long time before we see anything new from Bowen Designs).
Good luck with Mac. He's the hardest to find, and typically, by far, the most expensive.
The hardest bust to find is the non-Bowen Heather one... but I have a feeling Crackity won't be wanting one of them ;)
Oh, don't worry. At this stage, it's not Mantlo's mess we're worried about with Heather. ;)
And the mess we ARE worried about is currently being swept under the rug.

"My wife uses fabric softener. I never knew what that stuff was for. Then I noticed women coming up to me, sniffing, then saying under their breath, "Married!" and walking away. Fabric Softeners are how our wives mark their territory. We can take off the ring, but it's hard to get that April fresh scent out of your clothes."
~ Andy Rooney
Heather is just a mess.
A destroyed MESS.
And it's all Mantlo's fault.
It ALWAYS WILL BE. :(
Many things were found which should never have been lost.
