Wikipedia is wrong, pure and simple. Anyone can change and edit that.
When I click the link, it says "Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name."
Manually type in the ) that the paginated link misses out.
Aha! It does seem to work much better that way.
We've had similar things before - Roger Bochs's name (apparently) on an autopsy drawer in X-Men 2, Sasquatch being one of the lupine mutants  in Wolverine, etc... so it could be more surprising.

"Man who falls in vat of molten optical glass makes spectacle of self."
I just read Uncanny Avengers last night and thought of coming here to complain about Puck being shown as a mutant, but it seems I'm late to the party.
I really hate the Sasquatch inclusion in the Romulus storyline in Wolverine. What were they thinking?
Now, now... don't be so quick with the accusations.
I'm pretty sure there wasn't much thinking going on at all.

"Many of my readers assume that I am dead and are quite surprised to find me still alive. Nevertheless this is indeed the case."
~ Isaac Asimov in 1979 (he died in 1992)
A sort-of-kinda-ish appearance: 1994's Fury #1 features Hydra trying to steal Mac's Am-Can exosuit (Mac's not in it, but the suit apparently is - I haven't got it.).
I like these oddball pseudo-appearances. Is that Fury as in Nick?
Yah!
WHICH Nick Fury? The classic comic character, or the Samuel L. Jackson movie version? Or an LMD?
1994, so classic.
Yeah, going by the year it had to be David Hasselhoff, not Samuel L. Jackson.

"Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view."
~ Obi-Wan Kenobi in Return of the Jedi
I thought maybe it was a Marvel NOW 1994, like a reboot.
True, true.
Could've been at that. 'Marvel 1994: discounted from 2099!'
I just realised - this news is 20 years old. 20! And that's terrible.

What If? #104 has an Impossible Man/Poppupian as Puck.
Yar! And What If... #100 has a cover to Alpha Flight v2 #1, on the floor in front of Rogue. The artist spread out the wraparound spread so the entire v2 team appears. It's kinda blurry tho.
Yeah, I remember that being discussed a decade or so ago (!) and I think we decided it was a bit too meta to count as an actual appearance appearance, plus it wasn't new artwork, but it was a nice touch.
Little from column A, little from column B...
Talisman showed up in Uncanny Avengers #16. I was REALLY surprised to see her.

Wow nice find! That's a sharp pair of eagle eyes you got there. And she looks great! I wonder why she's wearing her old costume. I do love the magic propulsion effects for flight, very nice!
Oh that's a random but cool cameo.
Nice touch. Remender did the same in Doctor Voodoo so I'm not completely surprised.
It's nice to see that Alpha Flight members, past and present, are out there saving the world with the rest of the heroes instead of just being cannon fodder like they normally are. Why was she in New York though? Is she an Avenger now? They all seem to be pouring out of Avengers Tower. Anyway, I used the digital comic code that it comes with and took this screenshot. Now we have a better image, although the other one wasn't too bad either.

As I write this, I don't have the Contest of Champions. But I was looking at the Official Handbook entry and it says there is an Australian 'Talisman'.
Who is she?
Ahh, the original Talisman...
Created specially for CoC and hasn't appeared much since: http://www.comicvine.com/talisman/4005-14541/
Very similar to Gateway. Or vice-versa I suppose.
And another link to a nice page about Talisman I : http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/talisman.htm
There is also a Skrull Talisman that appeared in She Hulk too
Hey! Australian should form its own super team...Australia Flight!
Featuring Talisman, an aborigine who uses his mystic bull-roarer and knowledge of dreamtime to teleport!
Gateway, an aborigine who uses his knowledge of dreamtime and mutant powers to...teleport!
Dreamguard (appeared in Force Works in the mid-90's), an aborigine who uses his connection to dreamtime to...sigh...teleport.
And Manifold (the current Avenger), an aborigine who uses his powers to teleport...a lot!
Yeah, we Aussies just love to teleport. Do it all the time! Teleportin' all the way.
At today's petrol prices, what better choice is there?
