==History==
Little is unknown about the Shadows, but they were servants of [[Tanaraq]] and currently live in the Spirit Realm. These creatures resemble the [[Wendigo]], but have dark fur and vary in size. Their power and numbers were instrumental in Tanaraq’s plan to overthrow the other [[Great Beasts]]. It’s currently unknown what happened to the Shadows after Tanaraq was eventually defeated by the combined efforts of [[Alpha Flight]] and the [[X-Men]].
