While I don't necessarily like the decline in sales, I'm actually a little glad the variants aren't making much of an Impact*. Variant covers are a cheap 90s style sales gimmick, and I don't like the idea that they actually work.

Maybe it's just me, but I want sales to be driven up by good comics, or at least comics everybody likes, rather than variant covers, etc...

* (Sorry, I capitalised that because Impact happens to be the name of one of my LCSs.)

Yeah, I'm not a great fan of over-use of Variants.
It's just odd that this one did nothing, so thought it worth mentioning.
