Chris: … but deep down inside there is part of me that was in on the creation that still wishes there had been another way. It would be the same, I think, if a similar situation occurred, say, with Alpha Flight…

I hope that the feeling has changed toward Alpha Flight. It is a good team with a lot of potential. BTW, I'd be interested in a Denny O'Neill interview about editing Alpha Flight.

Once upon a time, they exploded from the pages of The X-Men. For a moment, they were "Canada's answer to The Avengers."

    They were ALPHA FLIGHT....

    ...once upon a time.

I posted too soon; at 18:57, X-Men / Alpha Flight v1 #2 shows up. (Oh, also MTU ann #7 was in wayyy earlier!)

A lot of the covers are by Byrne.

I'm not saying you should watch the video, though; it would be divisive.

    Wow!
An Audobon article mentions one of our members. I'm not even kidding:

Okay, it immediately says she's not an A-lister, but we can all agree that's not exactly false, is it?

This may be the wrong thread for this, but yesterday I bought a hardcover collection called Captain Britain: Siege Of Camelot.
A lot of the stories within (a lot; 62, to be exact; although they're much shorter than US issues) are reprinted from a UK Hulk series.
So, I was looking through the cover gallery, and imagine my surprise to see this one:
    Hulk 55
    and this one:
    Hulk 57

Also, the book has a brief biography of its contributers, which includes John Byrne:
"Byrne then wrote and drew Alpha Flight and a lengthy Fantastic Four run."

Nothing terribly exciting just referring to the space Alpha Flight program. Captain Marvel also mentioned she stepped down as leader and Space Flight were made for this kind of event and to bring them inSo our Alphans MAY appear

There's a Sub-Mariner story in Marvel Comics Presents #57-59 where he's mourning Marrina. He mentions her by name in every issue.

Similarly, What The--?! #7: The Revengers vs. Just-A-League contains the following conversation:
    Silas Mariner: How's the wife?
    A-Wet-Man: Insane. Yours?
Silas Mariner: Dead. I had to kill her after she went insane.

Took me a long time, but I eventually figured out Silas was talking about Marrina (basically) here.
