Default Guardians Of The Galaxy vol. 2

This will be spoiler-free, so necessarily vague:

It was very good. A good time was had by all. The first one was still better, I think, but this was a lot of fun.

They spent a lot of time with the characters before really launching into the plot, which was good. They also worked on making the villain interesting.

Odd thing for comics fans (possibly spoilery) :

they seemed to be trying to bring the originals to screen in a way the first movie didn't. I mean the original originals. Not all of them, but several showed up.

I wasn't satisfied, to be honest.

It's possibly because I was blown away by the first one and was expecting too much, but it just felt very bland and generic to me.

Drax's laughing seemed very overdone, Mantis just came off as annoying and bordering on racist.

I'd have been happier with 2 hours of the opening credits, to be honest.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I felt that too. It just didn't ruin the experience for me. (Maybe I was kind of expecting that to happen?)
