That basically just leaves me confused. I'm not sure the article was saying what Byrne thinks it was saying. (He says Wolverine being leader of AF was nothing more than an idea he'd had, never Marvel's actual plan. I'm not sure the CBR article says anything different.)

Technically, there's nothing about Alpha Flight in there, but because it's Infinity, they show a lot of panels from the comics, and sure enough that means a lot of pics of Alphans. (Puck, mostly.)

I just ran into this on YouTube.
It's kind of harsh and he doesn't always know what he's talking about, but there it is. (eg: he says the Alpha Flight series never really took off; my understanding has always been that it was very popular back when Byrne had the book.)
