That article was written by somebody who knows their Sasquatch, and has respect.

Though only thing is they are ignoring Tanaraq and the Great Beasts for this story. Not sure why, as would fit perfectly

prob just want people to think they are legit carbon copies with same origin ie. gamma radiation

Not necessarily ignoring it; could be developing it.

Certainly, the article knew about Tanaraq, but I'm pretty sure I've read Sas stories in the past that have ignored that part of his origin (some of which therefore don't even work).
