Default So I was on the Twittersphere...

... with my @ComicReliefPodc talking about re-reading some of the Marvel Unlimited Volume 1 Alpha Flight - when something comes across my feed.

An Earth 616 (so "regular" Marvel) of a character named...

    Validator.

    Who is Canadian.

And has essentially a variation of Aurora's costume.

And was a part of some version of Omega Flight (the only surviving member, apparently?) who later joins Sunspot's version of the Avengers. (Wait? What?)

The other Omega Flight had another Box... but with TWO X's...

    And created by Hickman.

Lord. Is it no wonder I didn't pick up his ... stuff... for the current X-Men books.

Tons of people love his stuff; it's just not for me.

    Yup.

Not Aurora's costume, but a Black Op's version of Heather's Guardian one.
I quite liked the prospect of the team; Hickman didn't have to include a Canadian team in his run, or could have killed off actual Alphans. I felt creating new characters was the better option.
