I tried to find where AF # 2 (2023) landed on icv2's list for September, but I didn't see it. Did it drop out of the top 50 comics of the month? Hope AF # 3 (2023) does better.

#1 was barely in the top 50, and that was with an incentive so #2 didn't stand a chance.
I'm not signed up as a pro so can't see the top 200 unfortunately.

HOWEVER

Since moving from Diamond to Penguin, the chart only covers 3000 stores using the Comic Hub system, and doesn't include the Random House sales, or digital sales.

So while it's a variable tool, it's not necessarily accurate.

Can the digital sales and the Random House sales be tallied and considered, for the most accurate data?

They don't share the numbers, unfortunately.

Too bad. The mini-series may have had a chance to become an on-going, if the decision could have been made with accurate data.

This was always going to be a 5 issue mini, with no scope for change.

The positive reviews can't have hurt the chances for a Vol.6 later down the line though.
