I watched it today after work and I have to say was pretty cool...nerdy, but cool. I thought I would start a topic and ask if anyone on the forum could have auditioned for a part on the show what would have been your Super Hero persona?

Rockin' Roll Martian!!!
I can't stand reality shows. The whole idea of them, even. 'Real World', 'Survivor', 'The News', 'Idol', 'Wife-Swap'... whichever one, it's all about exploiting real people.
So, when I read an interview with the guy who did conceptual work for this one (he did something else I knew and didn't like, but can't remember what), it just kind of made me ill. Reality TV, in trying to take over the ratings, is now trying to reach everybody it's missed.
For that reason alone, I wouldn't watch it.
That said, who would I be? 'Messor', perhaps? The Reaper (that's what my screen name means). I'd wear black.

Fair enough, I can see where you are coming from. I'm not really into the whole reality thing either but I had to check it out because Stan Lee was in it, Usually I'm pretty good at coming up with characters but the only thing I could think of was Vortex. He was a Hero came up with back in grade 5, he wore Red and Yellow.
Rockin' Roll Martian!!!
I guess, I would be Supergirl, I don't know why. I just know I could not pick Aurora. But what is that show? I never heard about it.

The SCI FI Channel, Nash Entertainment (Meet My Folks, For Love or Money, Who Wants to Marry My Dad?), and legendary comic-book creator Stan Lee (Spider-man, Hulk, The Fantastic Four, X-Men) are the producers of this six-episode, one-hour weekly competition reality series that will challenge a lucky few to create their very own superhero and reward the winner with the best reality competition prize yet: immortality!
Each contestant begins with an original idea for a superhero, a self-made costume, and their best superhero mojo. From thousands of hopefuls, Stan Lee chooses the lucky finalists who move together into a secret lair. There they will begin their transformations — and their competition for the opportunity to become real-life superheroes. Over the course of the series, they will test their mettle, try to overcome their limitations, and do what it takes to prove that they truly are super.
The finalists will leave their former lives behind and live as their brainchild heroes 24/7, all under Stan Lee's watchful eye. Each week, our aspiring heroes will be challenged with competitions designed to test their true natures. No one will be leaping over tall buildings in a single bound; our superheroes will be tested for courage, integrity, self-sacrifice, compassion, and resourcefulness — all traits that every true superhero must possess.
In the end, only one aspiring superhero will have the inner strength and nobility to open the gates to comic-book immortality. The winner of this six-week competition will walk away with their character immortalized in a new comic book created by Stan Lee himself. And that's not all — the winning character will also appear in an original SCI FI Channel movie!
Our contestants don't have to love comic books to be the superheroes we're looking for, and you don't need to read comic-books to appreciate their struggle to become the best they can be. So tune in and see what drives these rare individuals who are willing to push themselves to their limits, and find out what motivates someone Who Wants to Be a Superhero!

... and most of them the things RealiTV actively discourages. Which is one reason I avoid them. ?:Originally Posted by shaman

But, 'Immortality'? Who here thinks that comic will be remembered in ten years time?
Hands?
Anyone?
