    I used to pronounce it Shah-m'n, but heard the name of that one-hit wonder band pronounced 'Shay-mun' so that's what I go with now... but I don't really care that much.

    Depending on nothing in particular, I usually pronounce it "Shaw-mun", and occasionally "Shay-mun.

    I guess Shaman's one of those words with no specific pronunciation?
    Though as Snowsquatch posted, there's always the X-Men cartoon to go by.
