Thread: Lead-ins to Omega Flight

    Default Lead-ins to Omega Flight

I need to ask for something of a favour. I don't really read comics very often anymore, and of those that I do, few are Marvel.

Can anyone tell me what significant appearances of Omega member-to-be there have been lately? I heard about Arachne in Ms Marvel, so I can probably dig that up. I've also heard about USAgent trying to capture the Purple Man but am not aware of what book that appeared in.

Is the USAgent thing worth getting (in other words, is it more than two pages)? Are there any other lead-ins to this point that I'm not aware of?

    Thanks, all.

Choosing Sides was the US agent story, worth picking up for the Omega lead in

"Stormbreakers: The Saga of Beta Ray Bill" 5 parter written by Oeming should be worth getting, it's on my list of things to track down. I'm gonna order the TPB, you can get it at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Stormbreaker-S.../dp/0785117202

Here's a couple auctions out there on eBay right now for the BRB stuff. One is Oeming signed issue and the other is a TPB.

Is the TPB available now? If so, I might just go pick that up, as well as the USAgent and Spider-Girl (or whatever; I can't keep her name straight) appearances and have a little Omega preview night tonight.

I just picked up Iss # 1 of Stormbreaker (BRB Saga) two days ago. Looking forward to digging around and finding the other issues of it. An interesting read so far...

I read that one as it came out. Happy memory.

Isn't there supposed to be something in Civil War: The Initiative?

Also, if I remember right, the Ms. Marvel issues dealing with her and Arachne will be in the Civil War labeled Ms. Marvel trade. Choosing sides is going to be in one of the Civil War trades as well but I don't recall which one at the moment.

Yeah, Civil War:The Initiative , it is supposed to have an explanation of who Omega Flight is, and why they are together.
I do not think I am going to bother to get it, though, as Oeming has previously stated that he wants people to be able to pick up issue 1 of Omega Flight and have no problem figuring out what is going on , even if they have read nothing previous to it.

Hiya Uncle Toxie and welcome to the forums. The Miss Marvel story your referring to takes place in Miss Marvel #13-14 I believe. It's a follow up to the story we saw in #7-8?

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
    Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!

Yeah, the CW story dealing with Arachne in the Ms. Marvel title were issues 6-8. And Arachne will be in the next arc for Ms. Marvel starting with issue 13 next month. Issue 12 just came out yesterday.
