Yes, a 'Vindicator' in an issue of Iron Man springs to mind!

Just found my list that I mentioned a few months ago. Will be double-checking what is actually in the issues as I had only written down who was there - not whether it was as a new appearance vs. reprint of old pic. I do have a verified appearance. All of these comics were anniversary issues with borders of characters. Puck is in the lower left corner - verified by the Official Marvel Index of the Marvel Universe (showing the Avengers issue). They list all the characters - including Puck. The issues include :

    Captain America 323
    Conan Barbarian 188
    Conan the King 37
    Daredevil 236
    FF 296
    Ironman 212
    New Mutants 45
    Amaz. Spiderman 282
    Sens. Spiderman 193
    Spect. Spiderman 120
    Thor 373

We are aware of these issues but because they're reprinted artwork that isn't unique they're only counted once, under the appropriate Alpha Flight issue.

Apparently there's some AF in this week's Nightcrawler #7 (I'm guessing flashbacks?)

I'm guessing a one or two panel AF appearance, probably a funeral scene.

From a panel I've seen Puck & Northstar are definitely at his wake.

From the long list of characters that are in this issue, I figured it'd be a big group scene.

It probably isn't worth buying for an Alpha Flight scene, but probably is worth buying because Nightcrawler is a good comic.

(Brings back the good old days of Young Justice.)

Just to confirm: Northstar, Puck, Aurora, Sasquatch, Snowbird, and Heather Hudson without suit appear in the issue as holographic projections.

Later floating heads of Heather, Snowbird, Shaman, Puck, Guardian appear.

No one physically appears in the issue

    -K-M-, you're projecting again!
Is this communications holograms or 'here are some people we've met' holograms?

    Ack. I'll pass.

No offense. But i only buy Marvel for decent Flight appearances. Until such time as they change the way they write comics.

And to be fair, I'm none too happy with the way DC writes, either.
