Just read on Comicvine that Gene Colan passed. Another hero falls. RIP.
A sad occasion for the comics world, indeed. I just had my first exposure to Mr. Colan's work a few weeks ago via Essential Dr. Strange Volume 2. His depictions of Eternity are awe-inspiring. I felt like I could dive right into them and start looking for Earth among the rogue galaxies and nebulas depicted there. I had planned on checking out Tomb of Dracula at some point, because my best friend keeps recommending it to me, but sadly I never did so while Colan was alive...
