History
Michael Twoyoungmen's grandfather was once the Medicine Chief of the Sarcee Tribe. As a child Michael scoffed at his grandfather's mystical old ways of living. Michael decided to learn the white man's science rather than the magic his grandfather wished to teach him. Two days after his death, the Chief had a gift delivered to his grandson. The one who brought the gift to Michael also gave him a message, not to open it until he "Knows it is time". After the death of his wife, and alienation of his daughter, Michael had lived as a hermit for ten years, Michael felt a call to open the mysterious package. Within the package was the skull of his grandfather, with the flesh boiled off, and a leather pouch. The spirit of his grandfather appeared and spoke to him, explaining the boiling of the skull was a process designed to delay his passage to "The Great Home". The spirit directed Michael to withdraw a handful of pine needles from the leather pouch, however when he tried to do so he could not. Michael's confidence in himself had been all but been destroyed ten years prior. His grandfather then lead him in a period of training, forging his mind, body and spirit to a near perfect state. Once more he bid Michael to withdraw a handful of pine needles from the medicine pouch. Michael now sure of himself, and having developed a new spiritual connection through his grandfather succeeded, and then became the new Shaman of the Sarcee people.

Later when Michael had once more lost faith in himself, his grandfather aided in guiding him to discover a new spirituality and power.
