    Hey I was wondering if you guys remembered which issue Shaman said when he gave up the Talisman power he was giving up godhood?

    I can't find it... he got the talisman in #38, gave it up in #68, and doesn't talk about anything but giving up his humanity.

    Was the quote you refer to much later on, looking back on that time?

    Just spent a good chunk of the day going back through old Alpha issues. Read #68 - 80, and couldn't find that quote.
    It had been awhile since I had read those ones, it was a great trip down memory lane. The stories were actually pretty well done with Dreamqueen, Llan the Sorcerer, etc... I think it was John Calimee's artwork that soured me on them the first time around.

    That's during the Wrath Of The Dreamqueen, which is where #68 is.
