I enjoyed the GL film for what it was.
And let's face it, it was no Elektra or Catwoman.

I agree. I enjoyed GL as a purely shallow, no-plot action-y way to kill a couple hours.

I don't need high art with my entertainment (be it movies, comics, or what have you). As long as it's entertaining in some aspect, I am good.
