History

The living legend of World War II, Captain America was a frail young man, who when he enlisted was treated to the Super Soldier Serum and became a symbol of American Pride. Accidentally placed in suspended animation near the War's end, he awoke in modern times to re-take his title and become one of member of The Avengers.

Captain America has worked with Alpha Flight several times, most notably when the Avengers and Alpha Flight invaded Atlantis (to rescue the Alphan Marrina), during the Waterwind Affair (wherein a British nuclear submarine was hijacked). He along with The Avengers assisted Alpha Flight when The Consortium invaded Toronto. As well, serving often as the leader of the Avengers, he has worked with Alpha Flight in several situations such as the Second ]Secret Wars], [[Infinity War, etc.

Currently Captain America serves with the New Avengers and has gone public with his identity. He was amongn the Avengers to witness the S.H.I.E.L.D. footage of The Collective's attack on Alpha Flight.

Powers/Abilities

Captain America is one of the most experienced and skilled fighters in the world. His body, constantly rejuvenated through the Super Soldier Serum, is the peak of human perfection. He wields an unbreakable shield made of a one-of-a-kind alloy combining adamantium and vibranium.
