History
Dr. Craigborne was the Chief Administrator of a hospital in Fort Albany, Ontario. For a period, after having been attacked by his teammate Marrina, Eugine Milton Judd (Puck) was a patient of Craigborne's. Puck's curious nature led him to the discovery of Nurse Daly injecting herself with pain killers. Puck began to further investigate and noticed that much of the medication had been diluted to cover the fact that someone has been stealing from the hospital. When Judd approached Doctor Craigborne with his findings, the doctor said he would inform the Police. Puck asked him to wait 48 hours so he could investigate further. Doctor Craigborne agreed, and placed his trust in Eugene, having considered his status as a member of Alpha Flight.
Puck eventually uncovered a drug ring, but due to his yet-unhealed wounds, he found himself back at the hospital under Craigborne?s care. Sergeant McNamara, who had been leading the case for months thanked Puck for his assistance, informing him that several arrests had been made. Upon his departure, Craigborne informed the detective that Puck had sustained serious injuries and probably would not make it through the night. When Craigborne returned to Puck's room, the Alphan informed him he didn't think the case was closed, not believing Nurse Daly to be the mastermind behind the drug ring. The Doctor reassured him and told him to get some sleep. To help, he tried to give him as sedative. Just before he could inject him, Puck tackled the doctor onto the bed and revealed that Craigborne was the real mastermind behind the drug ring. Puck peeled back the label of the supposed sedative and discovered it was insulin. An overdose of insulin can kill and will not show up on the autopsy unless specifically looked for. Puck called McNamara back to arrest Craigborne.
