History

Albert Louis was a mutant with the ability to produce Bio-Electrical forms from his body. He tried to keep thisability under wraps and live as normal a life as possible. Unfortunately, this ability became known to Joshua Lord who sent his Hardliners to capture Louis. Managing to escape from them, using his 'Shock Troopers' as he called them to disable his assailants suits. Realising that his life had change irrevocably he makes his way to Alpha Flight who protect him from the Hardliners. He joins Departmeent H as a member of Gamma Flight I.

Albert undergoes training under the watchfull eye of Manikin, who is concerned that Albert is pushing himself to hard. Albert proves to be a very capable pupil, but is unable to stop himself being captured by Tork of the Hardliners, who wishes to use him as bait to draw Alpha Flight into battle. Alpha Flight go to rescue Albert and he is there with them as they defeat the Hardliners once and for all.

Status

Since the events depicted in House of M, Albert's status remains unknown. So far his name has not appeared on any lists of mutants who kept their powers and he has not been depicted anywhere with the group calling itself the 198.

Powers/Abilities

A mutant with the ability to generate or manipulate bio-electrical fields into various aspects for combat or defence. The full extent of his abilities were never stated, at the time he was introduced he was just learning he had powers.

Bio-Electric Punch: A powerful move where Feedback channels bio-electricty in his hand and and if he sees a target he punches the air. By doing so the bio-electricity gathered in his hand transforms into a giant fist and extends from his body. This allows him to attack from a distance with a powerful attack. As when using it for the first time it was strong enough to completly destroy a battle robot instantly in one punch. Showing that it is very durable and very strong, but the upper limits of it's strength were never stated.

Bio-Electric Sheild: By extending his own bio-electric aura just an inch or two above skin level, he can use it as a shield. It's durable enough to take energy blasts, but the strength or the limit he can produce the shield was never stated. It depends on the amount of bio-electricity he is able to generate.

Channeling Bio-Electricity: When Albert was grabbed by a battle robot, and in it's claws, he channeled his power down the robot's arm into its body making the robot explode. This power has not been fully explored.

Conversion: Albert has been shown to convert raw lightning, even magical lightning from Alpha Flight's Talisman and covert it into bio-electricity. They were working together and she was hitting him with lightning, by doing so it gave him the energy he needed to create a great number of Shock Troopers.

Shock Troopers: These are man-like energy forms Feedback can create out of pure bio-electricty. They are able to short out machinery and pass through a person wearing armor causing the target a great deal of pain. When he first manifested his powers he made six individual Shock Troopers that he was able to control mentally. The limit of how many he can create is not known, it is dependant on how much bio-electricity Feedback can generate. He has been shown to use external energy such as lightning or possibly other people's bio-electricity to make more Shock Troopers, potentially enabling him to create his own army. The number of Shock troopers he can control at once has never been shown to surpass six.
