History

Very little is known of Lilli's past - even her last name remains unrevealed. She was one of the occupants of Hull House, a holding facility for potential future operatives, operated by the Canadian government's secretive Department H posing as an orphanage. There, she was subjected to numerous unpleasant tests. Given that her power is the ability to phase through solid objects, it was difficult to keep her confined. During one of her excursions away from her handlers, she met Puck and Diamond Lil. Diamond Lil thought Ghost Girl seemed familiar, but didn't know why.

When Mr. Gentry took over Department H following the death General Clarke, things began to improve for Lilli. She was allowed to move into Alpha Flight quarters and mingle with team members. She teamed up with them to defeat a new Weapon X, who had been created by a rogue Department H scientist, Horatio Huxley. Lilli also built a close friendship with another graduate of Hull House, Flex. Both groups of Alphans that had taken part in the battle with Weapon X joined together. The teams were reshuffled due to size and Lilli's status since this reshuffle is unknown.

Powers/Abilities

Phasing: Ghost Girl possesses the ability to "phase" or literally pass through solid matter by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. While intangible she becomes invulnerable to physical attacks. It is unknown if she has the same phasing skill as Shadowcat. The full potential of her powers were never examined.

Ghost Objects: Ghost Girl can use her intangible body to create gateways through solid objects for others to use. She has created pathways for Puck and Flex to pass through (this apparently tickles her).
