History

Greene was a scientist posted at Mt. Logan Cosmic Ray Research Station, near the peak of Canada?s tallest mountain, when Walter Langkowski was called in by the Ministry of Defense to investigate strange readings. They picked up a unique signal, which Megan Masterson called an intruder. Once the readings came in, they discovered that the signal cut right across the radiation spectrum in a way that looked like a biological rhythm, much like a brain wave pattern. McMurdo dismissed it as background noise. It soon turned out not to be background noise. They had in fact teleported to the base the Super Skrull, who then took the form of the Thing to protect himself. Greene was the first person to rush out. He tried to lift the Super Skrull to safety, believing him to be the Thing. When the Super Skrull regained consciousness inside the research center, the entire facility was destroyed, killing all of the occupants, including Greene.
