History

Currently Kariooq, Somon, Tolomaq, Tundra, Tanaraq, Ranaq and Mauvais reside here in this realm. This realm was once not unlike Earth, though in a universe outside our own. A billion years or more past and the Great Beasts rose there. They pillaged and corrupted the world, then set forth for greener pastures. Three times they attacked Earth, the planet nearest on the mystic continuum, and three times they were driven back. The last time they were sealed behind a barrier designed to keep them forever in the Realm of the Beasts. The battle cost the victors as much as the vanquished. The land-beast Tundra--who was ever at war with the beast of the snow, Kolomaq--concieved a counter-plan as the end approached. He created a magical vortex that spun the energies of the barrier back on their creators, the Nothern Gods. As the Beasts were trapped in the Realm of the Beasts, the Northern Gods were trapped in Paradise. It was said that the Great Beasts are older than the Earth itself and to enter this realm you must travel to the Eye of the World, and use magical means to enter. Somon has complete control over this dimension manipulating it to his whim as well as commanding the rest of the Great Beasts. The full extent of this dimension was never stated, but one of important locations in this realm is the Well of Sorrows, which holds the souls of the uncounted billions that had once occupied the planet before the Great Beasts seized it.
