History

Ten thousand years ago, there existed a band of legendary heroes called the Tribe of the Moon. They rescued a young woman named Nahita, who was had been knocked out from a skeleton rain that had lasted for ten minutes. Upon waking, she saw heroes battling monsters from the Twisted Realms, whose coming was foretold by the skeleton rain. Fated to meet through these events, Nahita was told by Talks-to-Spirits that she was the legendary Talisman. She reached into his medicine pouch, pulled out the Talisman of Power and became the Talisman.
As the years passed, the tribe battled against mysterious threats such as the Creatures of the Cave, the Sharks from Beyond Time, rogue deviants from the lost continent of Lemuria, Ice-Devils and the Dimension Giants. Five years after Nahita donned the coronet, she explained to them these last few events were a sign of their true enemy appearing. They were resting in their cave when Pako rushed in and warned them that Llan had returned and had transformed the village into monsters. Nahita observed that it was impossible for him to reach the cave from the village in one day. Pako transformed into a hideous monster and attacked the Tribe. Nahita was forced to destroy him.
They decided to go to Nahita's village, but found no survivors. There, Llan made his appearance to the Tribe and spoke of the future of mankind, of today's society. He told them he was going to open the Gateway of Night. They had to journey north to stop him. They encountered many of his traps along the way. The weather conspired against them in strange ways, such as traveling through a blizzard in the middle of the summer. They finally arrived at the Eye of the World. Upon reaching their destination, Llan sent his minions to attack the Tribe. Talisman reached inside Talks-to-Spirits' pouch and pulled out an idol that would be crucial in beating Llan. She knew she had to battle Llan alone and left the tribe to defend themselves.
Talisman was able to defeat Llan by using his vanity and arrogance, trapping him in the idol. The fate of The Tribe of the Moon after that final battle is unknown.
