Synopsis: The army goes to an iceberg off Labrador to rescue the Navigator's crew (see last iss.) Only one is still alive, and to avoid capture, he blows everyone up with dynamite.
At Dept. H, Gentry says the Navigator has shown up as a ghost ship in Newfoundland, and since then communication with the town of White Cross has been cut off. It happens to be that his sister, the Prime Minister's wife, was there, and the Flight is sent in ("for province and planet"). Gentry voices misgivings about Mac's leadership, and Mac feels he has no support.
Walt finds Michael near Anchorage; Jean-Paul finds Jean-Marie at magnetic north. His powers disappear; then she does, stranding him. Huxley argues with Gentry about moving the Betas out of their cells.
Manbot tells Heather that his programming has changed, so he can reveal much about Dept. H to her. Puck and Flex find the Navigator, with her captain tied to her prow. Radius finds the townspeople in church, transformed into zombies (must be Anglican).
One little girl is unaffected and leads them to a tower. But she is a zombie too, and nearly crashes their jet into a tower in the tundra. Puck forces himself to remember it: the Tower of Babel (referring to the Biblical one, which Mac thinks was built by Moses's descendants. Must be Anglican.)
This one was built by the Brass Bishop..
