That's what I was going to check when I got home...
And that's the image I was going to check - was wondering if she was in there and just "nameless" at the time - but Beta Flight is clearly Puck, Marinna, Box, and Flashback - and Gamma Flight is (two males I don't know?) and Diamond Lil and Wildchild.

Looks like Witchfire may become a bit of a battle!!
You are witnessing the death of a dream...
the two males are I believe supposed to be Smart Alec and Madison Jefferies. Because in the lead up to issue 12 smart Alec joined omega flight and and Madison Jefferies helped Bochs improve Box. Plus when Delphine Courtney reformed omega flight, he mentioned his past relationship with Diamiond Lil when they were in Gamma together

If I have anything to say about it!
Definitely not; much, much later. (See Yankee's comment, but she wasn't Byrne.)
Both of them Byrne characters who were first shown in v1 #1, then turned into actual characters later (both in #11, I believe).
Correct! (And that's the image I was thinking of in my comment right before I quoted yours. )

I don't think there's enough people who like her, like I do.
I like her tie to Belasco - and I know a lot of people didn't like X-Infernus - but I really did. First, I thought it was pretty cool that they used Witchfire as a main villain - and made her VERY powerful and very "bad ass" (and respectable, as a villain!)... As someone who _loved_ Uncanny X-Men #160 - it's cool to see Belasco's legacy/story continue...
I really liked X-Infernus, and her in it.
But because of that I think of her as a villain mainly, so I doubt I'd vote for her here.
That's why I attacked Smart Alec early on because he was mainly a villain. As for Witchfire I liked the arc they did where Manikin helped her tell her father to F off, and plus I found the drawings of her very attractive in said arc, but outside of that I'm not that invested in her. The Beta I was most into was Goblyn, but that was more for what she could have been instead of what she was. I found it a little bit insulting that somehow PathWay learned to speak, despite her form of autism being the kind where they actually have a lifelong mental misfire that makes them unable to speak, yet Goblyn who I remind you is indeed a human being who to my knowledge is not autistic never gets beyond barking like a dog. I can understand her not when when first meet her as she has spent most of her time in dream world, so she never had someone to teach her English, but you'd think after being in Department H for a while someone who have thought to try to teach her.

We never really saw her kill someone, though? (She did some evil, stuff, sure...)
But she never killed her own team mate... say, like Heather did. (Just kidding, Yankee!)
Yes, I don't expect Witchfire to last long, once it boils down. Because I think the main core members of Alpha who are left (Snowbird, Sasquatch, Shaman, etc) will probably be where the real battle is at.
Apparently, after a certain age, it's very difficult to teach people to speak. If you can, they don't do it well.
In our universe. In Marvel?
I always wanted a story where they take her to Charles Xavier for about five minutes, and she can speak five languages fluently from then on.
