The reason they are so strong is they take this steriod called "Banshee" the same steroid Colossus uses. Yeah I know...awesomeOriginally Posted by cmdrkoenig67

Well, frankly, Dana, I gave up on ANY "positive" description on ANYTHING in the Ultimate books... They are Marvel's way to take a GOOD idea and bastardize the snot out of them to whatever degree they can. I honestly haven't picked up or even looked at any Ultimate comic since Ultimate X-Men #15-ishOriginally Posted by cmdrkoenig67

Sasquatch?
Sasquatch?
Yeah, it was definitely a case of "interesting, but not good".
Although I've always wondered about the whole "property of the Canadian government". That just creeps me out. Can't they just say "You're AWOL" and leave it at that?
edit: and it also appears that the Vindicator is not the Vindicator/Guardian/Weapon Alpha Wolverine is familiar with as he doesn't know who Wolverine is, and the Sasquatch is probably another character with a new Banshee inspired set of powers, as he has encountered Rogue before.
So they're all new characters with Banshee inspired powers.

Clancy Brown, who played Sas in the Hulk cartoon (is that ep on Youtube? I've still never seen it) was in Earth 2.

I called it first! By two years! I win! Earth 2 is still awesome by the way.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the idea of Alpha Flight being bad guys? Or at least misunderstood, misguided, heroes being led by a corrupt government? I quite enjoyed the idea. I think there is tremendous room for growth, and even a bit of them turning to the side of good.
As for Sasquatch, I doubt that it's Walter, I don't recall anyone calling him by name. Anything can be different in this Ultimate universe. They even remark that Banshee can give normal humans powers. Vindicator might be getting his powers from the drug, the red pylon looking things on his suit might be giving him the powers via constant injection. Snowbird looks like she is Elizabeth Twoyoungmen instead of Narya. Shaman might even be someone else, though I am not sure who else he might be.
I like it, I plan to keep buying this title as long as UAF is part of the plot.

"This is why I don't post often, *wink*"
i don't know, i kinda of think she is narya, with just a different look; at first, i had the idea of Elizabeth (well, soemone in a comic with my same name... is this the reason i like her so much?) me too, but reading the conversation between she and ororo, it seems to me she really beleives she is, at least in part, a deity...Originally Posted by Manikin
