I agree with you about Snowbird's being limited to Canada, Dana. It was unique, and should have stayed that way, IMO.

Thanks again, rplass! I appreciate that you uploaded the first four pages of the Snowbird story.
And more good news! Marvel FINALLY managed to put up the story on its website, so the whole story...
Thank you; oh, thank you, rplass! I finally gave in, and paid for a subscription to Marvel Digital Comics. But, I have been completely unable to access the Snowbird story, which was supposed to come...
Thanks to Man Bot on the Alpha Flight message board, I've just learned that the Astonishing Tales one-shot starring Snowbird is going to come out next week! (Thank you, Man Bot!)
However, it is...
Hi, Ben! :D
I gues Northstar is one of "the others". Thanks for telling us about this, rplass.
I'd love one! (Christmas is coming.)
I love it! What terrific costumes! Sorry I wasn't there.
Great job! :D The labeling was helpful, as I didn't know most of these characters already.
If you mean the character in the far right-hand area, I think it's Snowbird.
To Le Messor, I can understand how you felt when your first Snowbird fell. Mine did, also. Although my room is carpeted, she was knocked about the metal headboard when my husband answered the...
I received my Encyclopaedia Mythologica yesterday, and it's terrific! :D I found the entry for the Inua the most fascinating, of course. Never knew Snowbird had so many relatives! The only...
I'll say it's confusing! Mac Hudson related to Sabretooth? No way! Who thought up that one?
This story is a classic. It has been reprinted many times over the years. It's still one of the best Alpha (and X-Men) stories ever. I'm glad to see it being reprinted in a beautiful new hardcover...
Thank you for the correction, rplass. I guess I had to look harder to see the Alphans.
AF vol. 1 #3, 11, and 12 were all beautiful covers. AF #3 is even John Byrne's favorite cover EVER. Considering that JB doesn't like AF, this ought to say something.
Has anyone seen the "Top 70 Covers" list at the Marvel website? What a disappointment!
I was already put out by the fact that no Alpha Flight story made the top 70 greatest comic stories list,...
Thanks for the heads up, Mokole! I voted for AF, also!
Thanks, rplass!
This is fascinating! Wish I could have seen the little pictures of Alpha Flight you mentioned, (although I do remember them from Uncanny X-Men #138).
Thanks for your post. "Repo Man" is my favorite episode of the "X-Men" Tv series, and everything you say about it here is true.
I can remember when it was first on the air. I'd anticipated it for...
Le Messor, I believe I got the same ending you did, (Wolverine ordering a drink in Japan). Wonder what the other endings are?
I just received my Eaglemoss Guardian today. :D Great figurine, and wonderful accompanying magazine, with lots of terrific AF history in it.
So sorry to hear about your laptop. Glad to see you're back. :)
I just saw the movie. The character who could have been mistaken for Diamond Lil, was Kayla Silverfox's sister, Emma. Her skin could frost over into a diamond-bright texture. I don't think she was...
