You must post this. It could win the "Coolest Thing Ever Award" for 2014.

It isn't so much that your future is doomed...as an Alpha Flight fan, we all had it so good with Byrne's run, that mediocre now seems terrible. John Byrne spoiled us, and now we are all ruined.

    BUT WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

awww, okay, but you have to understand it's a demo. And I ran the title through my software and had to take what it gave me. So, it's kind of a rough draft. I'll post it tomorrow.

Now that you're prepared for the worst, if it isn't that bad, it'll be great!
But, if it is that bad, you're prepared.

Brilliant. Thank you, Le Messor. hahahaha, I think I automatically do this in everyday life anyway.

Sorry, I forgot to post this!!

There's a few things I am not thrilled with in how this turned out, but for the most part, it pretty awesome, imo.
I want to work on the original title font and see if I can run that through my software and come up with anything good.

You're the artist; any dissatisfaction is up to you.
Me? I can't see the problem. Looks perfect!

The only critique I'd have is something you're already working on - I'd prefer the original logo. (And that's just personal preference anyway.)

Yeah, a pink Alpha Flight logo dog collar definitely wins "Coolest Thing Ever Award" (for 2014). Congratulations!

    YAY!!! I win?!?!
What are you gonna make me? Do I get a cool winner badge or something?

    And thank you!

I would have done the original logo, but the one I did was the one of the cover of the very first issue of AF I ever saw in the 25 cent bin. And it was that logo that caught my eye and made me get more issues out of that box.

I know. I cannot fathom why anyone would want to get rid of their AF Byrne run collection.
But if it wasn't for that 25 cent box, I would not even have known the series existed. So, I'm grateful for that, AND for the fact that I got so many issues for 25 cents each.

I got most of my run from dollar bins about 15 years ago.

See? We did real well, Phil. We did real well.

I spent, like, $22 that day at the shop, and I walked out with a TON of AF and about 50-something other comics.
25 cent box days are my most favorite days.
